Jorma Öster (born 1953)
is a professional photographer.

 Started diving 1967.
Started parachuting 1971
.
Made the first european base jump
1980 from Trollveggen (Trollwall) in Norway.
 He was also an early base
jumper from El Capitan in Yosemite (Calif, USA).

Won NPCI 1982 (Nikon
Photo Contest International). See picture.

Was  awarded FIAP gold medal 1984.

He runs his own company Shutter Inc specialized in
graphics and pictures for advertising  and film industry.

Currently working on a film of Truk lagoon focused
on the visual beauty of the wrecks.
